Paul is 32, chronically unemployed, and lives in a small apartment. He has just managed to become one of the final candidates for a good job. Paul desperately wants and needs the job. But one night, when he overhears a violent argument between his next door neighbors Michelle and Sascha, his life suddenly goes haywire.
