ENERC was founded in 1965 and is a State University. It is free of charge but the terms of admission are very high as are the standards demanded of the students. The campus is located in the heart of Buenos Aires, just ten minutes away from the city's most famous monument, the Obelisk. ENERC has positioned itself as a small, high-end institution for future filmmakers. It currently has 500 students and 10 new students are admitted annually per department. ENERC offers a very differentiated curriculum with a wide variety of specialty programs. The following 3-year courses of study are offered:
