The MVV (Munich's public transportation system) has a variety of tickets and prices. In most cases, a "Streifenkarte" (a ticket with ten 'strips') is the most practical and is cheaper. You validate the number of strips you need for wherever you're going, one strip ('Kurzstrecke' – short trip) for stops along the Movie Mile.
