1. SUBMITTING FILMS
The following films can be submitted to the festival throughout the year (no form necessary).

FEATURE films and FEATURE documentaries (minimum running time 75 minutes) produced in 2009/2010
Submission deadline: April 21, 2010
German TV movies and German TV documentaries produced in 2009/2010
Submission deadline: March 31, 2010

Please send a VHS cassette or DVD accompanied by information on the film to:

If a film already has a German distributor please inform us.
Unfortunately, films which have been screened at other German festivals as well as films already released theatrically in Germany or previously broadcast on German television cannot be considered.

2. SELECTION OF FILMS
All films to be screened at Filmfest München are selected by a festival committee consisting of German and international film experts. Each film selected will receive a formal invitation to the festival as well as an official entry form.

3. FESTIVAL SCREENINGS
Festival screenings of feature films and feature documentaries will be on 35 mm (optical sound track), 16 mm (optical or magnetic track), BetaSP PAL, DigiBeta PAL or DVD. No double-head projections.
The German TV movies and TV documentaries will be screened on DigiBeta PAL.
