National and international guests celebrate FILMFEST MÜNCHEN with us every year. In 2019, we welcomed Hollywood stars Antonio Banderas, Ralph Fiennes and Jesse Eisenberg, as well as German talents such as Tom Schilling, Corinna Harfouch and Jürgen Vogel. World-famous directors, including our guests of honor Mads Brügger and Bong Joon Ho, complete the picture. 

It's raining awards! This year, the CineCoPro Award and the Margot Hielscher Award are presented for the first time. Our prizes for the CineMasters and CineVision competitions go to beaming winners. Actors Ralph Fiennes and Antonio Banderas are honored with the CineMerit Award for their lifetime achievements. And the German Cinema New Talent Award goes to creative young men.
