What remains when love has gone? In Marie and Boris’s case, it’s the house she paid for and he remodeled – and two daughters. Boris doesn’t make enough to pay for his own apartment, so he moves to the couch temporarily. 15 years of tenderness, rage and resentment have grown in the couple, wild pent-up feelings that need an outlet, somewhere in the prison of the soul their house has become. The Filmfest is screening another film by Joachim Lafosse in the Spotlight sidebar: LES CHEVALIERS BLANCS.
