Sofia Coppola is one of the world’s leading female directors. She won the Oscar 2004 for Best Original Screenplay for LOST IN TRANSLATION and the Gold Lion in Venice 2010 for and SOMEWHERE. This year, Sophia Coppola became the first woman to win Best Director in Cannes in 50 years with THE BEGUILED, which will be screened as German premier after the award ceremony.
