AWARD CEREMONY: GERMAN CINEMA NEW TALENT AWARD

Carrying a purse of 70,000 Euros, the German Cinema New Talent Award is presented by the three sponsors DZ Bank, Bavaria Film and Bayerischer Rundfunk to the best new talents in the New German Cinema sidebar at FILMFEST MÜNCHEN. All upcoming directors, producers, actors, screenqwriters and actors, whose films were screened in the section, are automatically eligible, providing it is their first, second or third feature theatrical film (or sixth in the case of producers). A three-member jury chooses the winners – consisting of actress Vicky Krieps, producer Jamila Wenske and director Uisenma Borchu.
