KOKO-DI KOKO-DA
The day before their daughter's eighth birthday, Elin and Tobias find her dead body. Years later, their relationship still suffers from this tragedy. To rekindle their bond, the couple decide to go on a camping trip in the woods. Things become horrific when three grotesque sideshow performers show up: an old dandy in a white suit, a hulking giant, and a silent woman with a penetrating stare. They have two dogs with them: one aggressive, the other dead. The performers turn the couple into marionettes in a sadistic game that leads to death, except that the suffering doesn't end there. Elin and Tobias are condemned to wake up repeatedly at the start of this terrible day, without knowing what they're in for. As the tune to "The Cock Is Dead" is hummed, they are confronted again and again with new versions of this fantastical nightmare. But underneath the sadism they endure, the aim is to overcome their pain and grief.
