A superbly crafted, magnificently acted, and imaginative romantic comedy that is undeniably Now.
Like most singles of his generation, Tim has a “problem”: he’s supposedly incapable of commitment. But he only uses this status to justify his lifestyle. After dates, he doesn’t return messages, preferring instead to swipe to the next woman, who will hopefully look like her profile photo as well. When Tim falls in love with Ghost, his female mirror image, he suddenly finds himself on the other side of dating hell. While he still thinks he’s being extremely clever with his advances, he’s already been ghosted by her. Unfortunately, Ghost has no desire at all for a romantic Tim.
