A sensitive, life-affirming drama about a meeting of young and old, with a fantastic performance by Charlotte Rampling.
The death of his mother plunges a 17-year-old New Zealander named Sam into an existential crisis. When his churlish, alcoholic grandmother arrives from England on her first visit, Sam awakens from his lethargy.
