Soccer is a game of life and death, not just on the field.
Defense attorney Lea Brandstätter witnesses an accident in which her boyfriend, accomplished soccer scout David Winter, dies. She wants to mourn privately, but has a strange encounter with Marcel Fork, a hooligan. Marcel lost his best friend on the same day in a stabbing by strangers just a few meters away from the accident that claimed David’s life. Could there be a connection? With the help of Lea’s mentor, they try to find out who is really behind the deaths. The trail leads to the innermost circle: to the president of the World Football Association.
