Logline

A resonating, triumphant debut characterized by heartfelt performances (with shooting star Paul Mescal) and real beauty.

Sophie recalls the all-inclusive vacation she and her father spent in Turkey in the ’90s, when she was growing up. To her it’s an almost carefree time of youth, with a loving, teasing bond existing between the two of them, like siblings. Except that the father sometimes has mood swings and is not always diligent about his parenting duties.
