The world as we knew it just a few years ago no longer exists, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and polarizing phenomena in society. What does this all mean for us filmmakers? What stories should we now be telling in a world that has changed so rapidly? What’s the state of fiction in this country? What stories can we tell, are we allowed to tell, do we want to tell, and should we tell? We’ll discuss this with one representative each of a public broadcaster, a private broadcaster, and a streaming service.
