A coming-of-age story from Ecuador, stunningly and sensually orchestrated by one of the most exciting young directors in Latin American cinema.
Iris and her twin brother live on an island with their mother and older sister. They feel very close to nature and communicate more through touch than in words. Their mother is at times close, at times distant. The relationship between the twins, by contrast, is very intimate, but is put to the test when Iris ventures onto the mainland in search of her father.
