VFF

The Verwertungsgesellschaft der Film- und Fernsehproduzenten mbH (VFF) was founded in 1979 by the Bundesverband Deutscher Fernsehproduzenten e.V., the federal association of German television producers. As a copyright management agency, the VFF is tasked with administering the royalty claims for in-house and commissioned productions in Germany. A VFF developmental fund supplies the 25,000-euro Bernd Burgemeister TV Movie Award that is presented each year.

The Bernd Burgemeister Award allows for close collaboration in the presentation of outstanding TV movies, enabling festivalgoers to see selected TV movies on the big screen before they are broadcast on television.
