FilmFernsehFonds Bayern (FFF Bayern), in which public and private television broadcasters work together alongside the Free State of Bavaria, has the task of providing high-quality film funding in Bavaria and offering additional services for the film industry. The aim is to create and expand a high-performance and competitive film and television landscape in Bavaria.
The funding areas include: the production of theatrical and television films, material, project development and young talent funding, the promotion of (web) series, games, VR, XR, international co-productions as well as distribution and sales funding, the promotion of film theaters and film festivals.
In addition to its funding activities, the FFF Bayern performs comprehensive consulting and information activities for the film and television industry. The numerous activities in the area of press, information and service aim to highlight the performance of the Bavarian film and television industry and to promote films "made in Bavaria" at home and abroad with publications, websites and events.
