An insightful and poetic portrait of a generation of young women on the move.
On a summer day in Tunisia, men and women come together to pick figs, as they do every day, to chat about whatever’s on their minds. There is whispering and dreaming, flirting, and conversation about the role of women in a changing society. With a keen eye for detail and a cast of amateurs, director Erige Sehiri tells a true-to-life story about people who develop a strong bond in their daily interactions. One of the great newcomers discovered at the latest Cannes festival!
