Logline

Eleven friends? Not a chance. More like eleven entrepreneurs

In the 1960s, playing soccer was not something you could make a living from; it was no more than a side gig. But by the mid-’70s, Müller, Maier, Beckenbauer, Breitner, and Hoeness have made it — and are facing challenges that have resulted from their fame and fortune. Friction mounts as their wins propel them toward the 1974 World Cup. Will they manage to overcome the tension between them, or will individual egos destroy their team spirit?

The screening will include the first three episodes of the series.
