A breathtaking work of animated art based on the award-winning novel.
The four-volume novel “The Peasants” is a classic of Polish literature that earned its author, Władysław Reymont, a Nobel Prize in 1924. Now the married couple Hugh and DK Welchman have brought this work to life in over 40,000 meticulously animated oil paintings. These center around a village community, a forced marriage, and family squabbles.
