A tightly woven docu-fictional work about family, memory, and the search for a lost book.
After spending a number of years abroad, Ena has returned to Venezuela. As her grandmother gradually loses her memory, her father collects rare books in order to preserve his country’s literary heritage. In one of the books, Ena discovers a mysterious postcard, which she uses to track down a long-forgotten author from Caracas.

Meet the director
Lorena Alvarado
Lorena Alvarado is a Venezuelan filmmaker who lives in Barcelona and New York. She is a graduate of Emerson College and the Fabrica Research Center in Italy. She is also a member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective and Omnes Films. LOS CAPÍTULOS PERDIDOS is her first feature film.
