A tragicomic portrait of a troubled relationship
Ben and Suzanne are delighted to finally see each other again and rekindle their relationship. He’s flown all the way to Sri Lanka, where she’s working for an NGO. But it doesn’t take long for problems to arise. The couple have grown apart, and intimacy is out of the question, as Suzanne’s job makes too many demands of her. Do the two of them still have a chance? .

Meet the director
Shaun Seneviratne
Shaun Seneviratne made his debut as a director in 2010 with LAST CHANCE FOR A SLOW DANCE. After several short films, his first feature-length film, BEN AND SUZANNE: A REUNION IN 4 PARTS, premiered at the South by Southwest festival in 2024. In addition to being a filmmaker, he has been teaching at the Brooklyn STEAM Center since 2018 and is co-host of RohmerCast, a podcast focusing on the works of Éric Rohmer.
