KHAYT
A fictional video diary about the Ukrainian city of Mariupol, where the protagonist receives an artist’s residency in order to design a musical installation. In the process, he loses himself in the city’s underground music scene.

Meet the director
Sashko Protyah
Sashko Protyah is a filmmaker and activist from Mariupol. He is a co-founder of the Freefilmers collective. His films deal primarily with alienation and memories. He is currently a volunteer in the Ukrainian army.
