Thomas, a teenager, and his mother are constantly moving, on the run from Thomas' violent father against whom they have a restraining order. They settle in a new town where Thomas gets a job as a paper boy and his mother goes to work for a supermarket. Thomas soon falls in love with Helene, and Jonas, a classmate, becomes his best friend. The future seems bright and promising for mother and son, but their past soon catches up with them when Thomas' father appears out of the blue. Thomas has to make a decision: keep hiding and running forever or stay put for a final showdown. A film about growing up and embracing love.
