Munich - Capital of Bavaria
Howard H. Triest made this film upon his return to his hometown as an American soldier in 1946. He and his sister, Jews, had managed to escape Germany in the late thirties. (See JOURNEY TO JUSTICE on the preceding page). The opening credits read: HHT presents the biggest sensation of 1947 - the first documentary film of the occupation of Germany - MUNICH - Capital of Bavaria - First-hand scenes of today’s life in a bombshattered city.
