THE WALLFLOWER Henriette, a ballet teacher, lives alone in the luxurious old apartment she inherited. Her everyday life is as silent and organized as the vast rooms. A chance encounter changes her life. She observes Felix, who is mute, as he steals money in a café. It is the beginning of an unusual relationship. When Felix leaves, Henriette follows him from Wiesbaden to the Frankfurt red light district. Felix, it turns out, is far far mute. He is a drifter who roams the streets of Frankfurt, his world the subculture of sex, drugs, alcohol and petty theft. Felix visits Henriette again – but this time, Henriette doesn’t let him go. She locks the room he’s sleeping in and sets out for Frankfurt. In her pocket – a knife...
