The Green Jacket
Filmfest 2014

A family with two children, a 14-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, live in the suburbs of Kiev. One day the kids go out to play. A moment's distraction and the sister loses sight of the boy. A search yields nothing. Months pass. There is little hope left of finding the boy alive. His sister decides to take over. She's sure she knows who kidnapped her brother. Despair, guilt, and powerlessness – is that enough to justify a terrible revenge?
Warsaw Film Festival

"This is an eerie story of a young girl who tries to seek justice in modern Ukraine, and the indifference of society. However, this story is not at all a socially critical pamphlet, but a study of human nature, its inexpressible meanness and to the same extent inexpressible nobility".
