ALL THINGS WERE NOW OVERTAKEN BY SILENCE is a film about the filming of a play. The play is a monologue by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz’s poem First I Dream. We see the actress Jesusa Rodríguez patiently waiting between shots as the director and crew decide shots, moving lights and placing the camera. The film is a meditation on filmmaking and its process. Double feature with ENTREVISTA CON LA TIERRA
