Nineteen-year-old Myeisha Jackson sets off with her cousin and a friend to enjoy the glittering nightlife of Los Angeles when their car has a flat tire. While her companions go off to get help, Myeisha stays in the car and falls asleep. The police arrive, and a misunderstanding turns into a tragedy. A gunshot opens up a dream world full of Sturm und Drang and possibility and hip-hop. Based on a true story and on the stage play "Dreamscape" by Rickerby Hinds.
