SKANDAL: RESERVOIR DOGS & NATURAL BORN KILLERS
TELE 5 presents the classics RESERVOIR DOGS and NATURAL BORN KILLERS at FILMFEST MÜNCHEN. Director Oskar Roehler has recommended them as part of his TELE 5 film category "SCANDAL: Films That Made History". Many people felt the violence in Quentin Tarantino's RESERVOIR DOGS went too far. Some left the theater, among them horror-film director Wes Craven. After Oliver Stone's NATURAL BORN KILLERS came out, a wave of violent crimes occurred in France and the United States that appeared to have been inspired by the movie. Stone and Warner Bros. faced a wrongful-death lawsuit in a case that was eventually dismissed because of a lack of proof that either had intended to incite violence.
