CONSTERNATION — AND A FORM OF POETRY: CINEMA LEGEND BERNHARD WICKI (Germany 2006–2007, Director: Elisabeth Wicki-Endriss, Length: 123 min.)
Film seminar organized by the Interfilm Academy
On the 100th anniversary of his birth, this documentary about Bernhard Wicki (1919–2000) will be screened as the start of a planned retrospective. As a steadfast actor and filmmaker, Wicki helped to shape the contemporary history of German cinema and of Germany itself. His legacy is recalled in this documentary by those who knew and worked with him. This look at cultural and film history is also a poetic love letter to the person Bernhard Wicki was.
With the generous support of Beta Film
After the screening, a discussion will be held with Dr. Peter Marinković, director of the Interfilm Academy, and a surprise guest.
