Film Check: How is a film made?

Checker Tobi is offering you the unique opportunity to explore with him behind the scenes of his motion picture CHECKER TOBI UND DAS GEHEIMNIS UNSERES PLANETEN. Together with Esra, the film’s head of production and assistant director, Tobi will talk about funny and exciting moments on the set of the adventure film and explain what all is needed to make a motion picture and who is all involved. There will of course be time to ask your own questions, and when the event finishes, all fans big and small will have an opportunity to get autographs and selfies.

Forum for professionals "The fantastical in children's film"

Seminar to accompany the Kinderfilmfest - for teachers, educators, pedagogical specialists, parents, and more

Superheroines, among them Super Miss, encounter talking dogs and mysterious spiders. Inserting magical graphics directly into the image is a different form of fantastical storytelling. What stands out about this year’s films is that most of them have a connection to the fantastical. This trend has become more and more apparent in children’s films, which is why the German Federation of Film Clubs for Children and Young People (BJF) is bringing it into focus. F
