1. Can I use the Mobile Shop with my smartphone?
The Mobile Shop is optimized for all typical web browsers like Apple iOS, Google Android, Blackberry OS and Windows Phone.
2. How can I purchase tickets in the Mobile Shop?
You add the requested number of tickets for the movie you would like to see to your shopping cart and click “Checkout”. Now fill in your personal data and click on “Continue”. Then you can make your payment by clicking on “Purchase”. You can pay with your credit card or by bank debit (‘SEPA-Basislastschrift’). Please note payment by bank debit is only possible with a German bank account. (See no. 16 to use your Filmfest Card for your purchase.)

4. Can I see a movie by showing the confirmation code?
No. You can only enter the movie theater with an original ticket. Please show your confirmation code at any Filmfest box office and pick up your tickets there. You can print the email with the confirmation code or just bring your smartphone with the confirmation code to any Filmfest box office.
5. How do I get the tickets I purchased in the Mobile Shop?
You receive your tickets at any Filmfest box office. If you purchased your tickets or if you redeemed your Filmfest Card/voucher in the Mobile Shop, you receive a confirmation code on your smartphone and per email. You are required to bring this confirmation email/your smartphone with the confirmation code to any Filmfest box office. You also have to bring the credit/debit card that was used in the Mobile Shop (not necessary for tickets redeemed with vouchers/“Ehrenkarten”).
6. What happens if I lose my smartphone with the confirmation code?
You always receive an additional email with your confirmation code. Just print the email and bring it to any Filmfest box office. You also have to bring the credit/debit card that was used in the Mobile Shop.
7. What happens if my shopping cart runs out of time?
After the time is up (20 min), the items in your shopping cart will be deleted. You have to add the tickets to your shopping cart again.
8. How can I edit the items in my shopping cart?
If you go to your shopping cart, you can delete your items on the red “X”. To change the number and the price category of your tickets, go to “Edit” and click “Edit ticket selection”. Please complete your transaction with “Submit”. Otherwise your chosen tickets will be lost.
9. Can I purchase discount tickets in the Mobile Shop? How does that work?
Students, senior citizens, people of the federal volunteer service, unemployed persons, welfare recipients, and disabled persons can purchase one discount ticket per screening. Just select your film and the discount price and add the screening to your shopping cart. Please don’t forget to present your confirmation for discounted tickets (e.g. student ID) at the Filmfest box office. If you do not bring a confirmation, the tickets will go back on sale. Your expenses from the Mobile Shop will be reimbursed in cash at the box office. We cannot guarantee that regular tickets will still be available for sale at the box office.
10. Can I make online ticket reservations?
No. You can buy tickets in the Mobile Shop but you cannot make reservations. You can make reservations from June 15 by calling the following number: +49 89-480 989 73 00.
11. When can I order tickets in the Mobile Shop at the latest?
You can order tickets no later than 30 minutes before the screening starts. Please note that only original tickets authorize you to enter the movie theater. Calculate wait times at the box office when you pick up your tickets since you cannot enter the theater after the screening has started.
12. When can I pick up my tickets at the Filmfest box office at the latest?
Tickets should be picked up at the Filmfest box office no later than 30 minutes before the screening starts because there might be a heavy rush of people. There will be no admission to the theater after the screening has started.
13. What happens if I cannot pick up my tickets before the screening starts?
After the screening has started there will be no more admission to the theater. If you do not make it to the screening in time you cannot get a refund.
14. What are the advantages of a Filmfest Card?
Buy a Filmfest Card Silber, Gold or Platin and save! With the Filmfest Card Silber you receive 5 ticket vouchers and a lanyard voucher. The Filmfest Card Gold includes 11 ticket vouchers, a lanyard voucher and a poster voucher (A1 ENJOY). If you purchase a Filmfest Card Platin, you will receive 24 ticket vouchers, a lanyard voucher, a poster voucher (A1 FLIRT), and a bag voucher.
15. How can I purchase a Filmfest Card in the Mobile Shop?
You can buy your Filmfest Card in our Mobile Shop. You just go to the page “Overview” and click “Buy Filmfest Card”. Here you can select your Filmfest Card. You can pay for it with your credit card or by bank debit (‘SEPA-Basislastschrift’). For technical reasons you can only purchase one Filmfest Card per transaction.
16. How do I redeem my Filmfest Card in the Mobile Shop? Can I also redeem a Filmfest Card that I bought in the Mobile Shop at a Filmfest box office?
You log in to the Mobile Shop with your Filmfest Card number and your personal four-digit pin and add the tickets to your shopping cart. To buy only single performances in your shopping cart with your Filmfest Card please click on “Edit” and then on “Redeem Filmfest Card” for selected screenings and choose the number of tickets you want to purchase with your Filmfest Card.
To redeem your Filmfest Card for all tickets in the shopping cart please click on “Use Filmfest Card for all performances in the shopping cart”.
Tickets purchased with your Filmfest Card will appear in your shopping card with a price of 0,00 EUR. Please make sure to check your order before submitting it.
Filmfest Cards that were bought in the Mobile Shop can also be redeemed at any Filmfest box office if you present your confirmation email with the booking code.
17. Where can I redeem my lanyard, poster or bg voucher?
You can only pick up the Filmfest lanyard keychain, the Filmfest poster and the Filmfest deck bag from June 15 at the Filmfest box offices in Gasteig. Please present your Filmfest Card (or the WebShop Filmfest Card PDF printout).
18. How do I find out my Filmfest Card pin?
You determine your pin when you purchase a Filmfest Card in our Mobile Shop. In addition, you receive an email with your pin. If you forget your pin, you can request the pin via email at any time. Therefore you need the Filmfest Card number and the email address that was used for the Filmfest Card purchase. The pin will be sent to this email address. If you bought your Filmfest Card at the Filmfest box office, the four-digit pin can be found on the back of the card.
19. How do I redeem ticket vouchers/”Ehrenkarten” in the Mobile Shop? Where can I find the voucher code on my “Ehrenkarte”?
You add the tickets for the film you want to watch to your shopping cart. Click on “Redeem voucher” and type in your voucher/”Ehrenkarte” code. You can find the 23 digit code on the back of your “Ehrenkarte” underneath the bar code.
