Kino, Mond & Sterne

Since 1995, Kino, Mond & Sterne in the Westpark has been as much a part of the Munich experience as barbecuing on the Isar River or surfing the standing wave on the Eisbach. Every summer, a balanced mix of mainstream and recommended movies, comedies and feel-good films is compiled from among nearly 300 films and numerous audience suggestions. The real star of the city’s oldest outdoor cinema is the location itself. The distinctive ambience and the unique setting of the lakeside stage guarantee an extraordinary open-air experience in natural surroundings.
