CineKindl Audience Award

The recipient of the award is chosen by what is arguably the strictest and most honest jury in the world. Anyone who attends the films in the section CineKindl may evaluate the films shown during the festival and submit ballots for their favorites. The winner is announced on the last day of the festival. Following a colorful award ceremony, the winning film is screened again free of charge at the close of the festival. The CineKindlAudience Award has been awarded since 2003. Recipients include THE MAGIC TREE (2010), one of Poland’s best-known children’s films; and the animated short film REVOLTING RHYMES (2018), which was also nominated for an Academy Award.

The award ceremony was not held in 2021.
