FILMFEST MÜNCHEN not only takes place on 10 days every summer. With our numerous cooperation partners, we also organize exciting events throughout the year at a wide variety of venues all over Munich and beyond the city limits. Many thanks at this point to all institutions that help us making these unique moments and encounters possible.

FFMUC at Gans am Wasser

In a cooperation we showed films on four Thursdays in the yurt of Gans am Wasser. The opening film was always a current short film from FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH 2022.

FFMUC at Bayerische Staatsoper

In cooperation with the Bavarian State Opera, we will be showing Axel Ranisch's new film ORPHEA IN LOVE to kick off the UniCredit Septemberfest.

FFMUC at Kino am Olympiasee

At the Kino am Olympiasee, together with Bayerischer Rundfunk, we are hosting an evening all about 50 years of Olympia.

FFMUC at Evangelische Akademie Tutzing

At the conference "Seeing and being seen: Representation in Film", the German and international film industry will meet to discuss ways to improve representation.

In cooperation with the NS-Dokumentationszentrum München, FILMFEST MÜNCHEN will show the documentary A BREATH OF LIFE by Matteo Botrugno and Daniele Coluccini on Wednesday, December 7, at 7 pm. Admission is free. The two co-directors will be present and will have a conversation with Filmfest programmer Julia Weigl after the film.
