IN THE SHADOWS
In the walled city of Old Delhi, a reclusive shopkeeper spends his days obsessively watching people through hidden closed-circuit cameras. When he overhears how a boy is beaten, he begins a desperate search for the child. As he becomes lost in the labyrinthine alleys of the city and the recesses of his mind, he starts to lose his grasp on reality until he comes across a shocking truth. Director Dipesh Jain wrote this story to express the personal fears he'd experienced as a child.

Dipesh Jain
Indian filmmaker Dipesh Jain is a Director's Guild of America (DGA) Student Award recipient and a graduate of the University of Southern California Film School. He has written, produced and directed various short films that have been shown at numerous international film festivals, notably 5 QUESTIONS, 5 CHANCES (2006) and 11 WEEKS (2010). IN THE SHADOWS is his feature-film debut.
