THE TALE
A documentary filmmaker discovers a story she had written as a 13-year-old. The story seems to be about love and desire, about her sexual awakening, about riding instructor Mrs. G and coach Bill. But as an adult, the author realizes it's a story about abuse and wrongdoing. Director Jennifer Fox wrote this story several decades ago; she experienced these things herself; and she summons the power of cinema to drive out their demons.
