AWARD CEREMONY: BERND BURGEMEISTER TV MOVIE AWARD

Every year, the TV producers' rights society VFF presents the Bernd Burgemeister TV Prize as part of FILMFEST MÜNCHEN to honor the producers of exceptional TV movies which deal with important themes or break new narrative ground. Founded as the VFF TV Movie Award in reaction to the special significance and growing quality level of TV productions. It was renamed to honor the leading Munich producer and VFF managing director of many years, Bernd Burgemeister, who passed away 2008. The Bernd Burgemeister TV Prize carries a purse of 25,000 Euros.
