Discussion with the CSU faction of the Bavarian parliament (Task Force for Digitization and Media)

Movie theaters are a vital component of cultural life; they help to foster people's identification with the region they come from. By showing films, detective stories or comedies that have a strongly regional quality, movie theaters also convey an image of a particular region. At the same time, they need to meet new challenges in order to remain innovative and attractive. How our movie theaters are meeting this challenge, what significance they have to regions, and how our region, Bavaria, is portrayed in films is what Markus Blume, spokesperson for media policy within the CSU faction in the Bavarian state parliament and secretary general of the CSU, will discuss with noted guests from the film industry at the CSU faction's traditional panel discussion at FILMFEST MÜNCHEN.
