BOOK MEETS FILM

Publishers present books to adapt - Hosted by the Bavarian chapter of the German Publishers' and Booksellers' Association and the Bavarian Print and Media Association

Book Meets Film revolves around 12 books selected by a jury as having great potential for film adaptation. The publishers will make a pitch to movie producers. Then a get-together will offer an opportunity to talk to the publishers or their representatives about content, licenses, and options. "Book Meets Film" is an integral part of FILMFEST MÜNCHEN. After the Frankfurt Book Fair each autumn and the Berlinale each winter, it is the third important networking platform of the German-language book and film industry.
