I4C – THE MAGIC IN VIRTUAL REALITY

Since 2016, the Bavarian Film Center and its partners have organized the i4c as an international conference. The i4c is concerned with narratives in new media, focusing on virtual reality and 360° film. At the invitation of the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts, the event has moved to the academy's rooms in the Munich Residenz, offering space for an exhibition of artistic experiences and for lectures and discussions, as well as the opportunity to try out the virtual-reality painting program Tilt Brush. On display are the award-winning installation "HanaHana" by artist Mélodie Mousset, the current work by Tamiko Thiel and artist duo Bianca Kennedy and Felix Kraus. There will also be a "VR cinema" featuring 360° film production. Curated by: Astrid Kahmke and Tina Sauerländer

Admission is free. Registration is requested.
