JACOB, MIMMI AND THE TALKING DOGS
Seven-year-old Jacob lives in town, loves drawing skyscrapers, and dreams of being an architect - just like his dad, who is away on a long business trip. Spending the summer in a historic suburb of Riga, Jacob not only discovers completly new surroundings; he also meets his know-it-all cousin Mimmi and his uncle Eagle, a former mariner, for the first time. It soon becomes apparent that the local park, including his adventure playground, are to give way to an impersonal district of steel-and-glass-skyscrapers. Jacob and Mimmi decide to stop this unpleasant turn of events, but they can do this only with a pack of talking dogs. A fun, exciting summer adventure story about an unusual friendship, in hand-drawn animation.
