CINEMERIT GALA: RALPH FIENNES

With the CineMerit Award, FILMFEST MÜNCHEN honors outstanding personalities in international film for their achievements in the art of film. This year's award-winner is British director and actor Ralph Fiennes. The presentation of the award on July 1, 2019 will be followed by a screening of Fiennes' third and latest film as director: THE WHITE CROW, about Russian ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev, in which Fiennes also plays the part of renowned ballet master Alexander Ivanovich Pushkin.
