WATER LILIES
In 1890, painter Claude Monet purchased the house in the French town of Giverny where he and his family had been living for seven years. On the property, the artist transformed an existing small pond into a water garden with water lilies and a Japanese-style bridge from which he could observe the water and the flowers. Monet painted more than 250 scenes devoted to the water lily theme, which became what he himself called "an obsession". This VR experience invites the user on a journey that starts off in Monet's garden, stops along the way at the workshop of the artist, and ends in the exhibition rooms of the Orangerie museum.
This VR experience will be screened out-of-competition at VIRTUAL WORLDS, duration 8 minutes.
