Often, comedies in particular are box office hits in Germany, but with the German-Swiss production TIDES, which is premiering at FILMFEST MÜNCHEN, director Tim Fehlbaum presents atmospheric science fiction that is definitely not behind international productions. Fehlbaum and producer Thomas Wöbke talk to Christoph Gröner, artistic director of FILMFEST MÜNCHEN, about how they came to make this film and what the future holds for genre film in this country.
