The Future of Young People - Presentation of the Study on Young Filmmakers

As part of FILMFEST MÜNCHEN 2021, the Produzentenverband e.V. will present the "Yount Talent study", a study on the situation and promotion of young filmmakers in Germany. Alexandra Krampe and Saralisa Volm from the Producers Association and Prof. Dr. Klaus Goldhammer will present the results of the "Young Talent Study" prepared by Goldmedia Strategy Consulting. This is the first study to address the issue of promoting young talent in Germany. By taking a differentiated look at developments over the past ten years and the current situation, the study provides a detailed basis for an industry dialog under the banner "Zukunft Nachwuchs". The aim of "Zukunft Nachwuchs" is to set reform impulses in order to create improved conditions for more radicality, creativity, innovation, and to enable young filmmakers to gain a sustainable foothold in the industry.
