Fifteen years after being sent to group therapy to survive their parents’ divorce, Nola, Mads, Hennie, Tia, and Hugo continue to stick together as they struggle with the challenges of adult life. In her podcast, “Damaged Goods”, Nola discusses not only her own innermost feelings and problems, but also shares the personal stories of her friends — without their knowledge. It’s only a matter of time before they find out!
Meet the director
Anna-Katharina Maier
Born in Munich in 1984, Anna-Katharina Maier studied film directing at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF) from 2008 to 2016, graduating with the comedy FAMILY – DIE QUITTUNG KOMMT ZUM SCHLUSS. She then directed the TV movie TRAUUNG MIT HINDERNISSEN (2018) and its sequel, ELTERN MIT HINDERNISSEN (2020), both starring Nicolette Krebitz and Hary Prinz. Episodes for such TV series as HUBERT UND STALLER, HUBERT OHNE STALLER, and DIE KLEMPNERIN followed. For Amazon Prime Video, Maier directed the series DER BEISCHLÄFER in 2020 and DAMAGED GOODS in 2021, the latter of which she also helped to develop.
