Maika Monroe is being stalked yet again. After IT FOLLOWS comes the feature-film debut of talented horror director Chloe Okuno.
A new job brings a newly engaged couple, Francis and Julia, to Bucharest. He speaks the language and is enthusiastic about his new job; she, on the other hand, sits at home in her stylish apartment every day, doesn’t understand a word, and to make matters worse, feels like she’s always being watched. But what’s the reason for this feeling?

Meet the director
Chloe Okuno
Chloe Okuno is an American horror film director. She co-directed V/H/S/94 (2021). Her feature film directorial debut, WATCHER, premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival in the U.S Dramatic Competition. Okuno has also directed several short films, including SLUT (2014). SLUT won several awards, including the Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the Las Vegas International Film Festival. Okuno graduated from the AFI Conservatory in 2014.
