Film talk hosted by the CSU faction in the Bavarian State Parliament
Whether it’s for binge-watching a series, enjoying a romantic movie night for two, or laughing at a funny cartoon for the whole family, video on demand has been all the rage, and not just since the pandemic started. The film and TV industry adapted to this reality a while ago. More and more streaming providers are emerging, and more and more high-quality series are being launched — “online first”, of course. Are series the new blockbusters? What does this mean for film and television in Bavaria? Alex Dorow, media policy spokesman for the CSU faction in the Bavarian State Parliament, will discuss this with leading representatives of the film and television industry. Bavarian Minister of Digital Affairs Judith Gerlach will give a statement afterwards.
